  This is not a way to treat a long time customer, nor anyone for that matter. Rudely dismissing a customer's concern on something that is clearly your mistake (no cosmetic bottle should be defaced for any reason, period) is ridiculous. The way I've been treated by the owner Alberto and his employees is a shame.

  For a while, I've been getting haircuts that I'm not really in love with or haircuts that didn't make me feel confident and pretty. I decided to do something different; I got my hair cut and styled by Shianne at Alberto & Co today. I live nearby and I've walked by so many times, but if I'd known how happy and confident I'd feel after getting my hair cut and styled at Alberto & Co? I would have walked in much, much sooner.

  My main issue with Alberto's is the horrible way I was treated when I had a problem with a purchase I made from the store. I bought a bottle of Redken men's shampoo and upon closer inspection, several words on the ingredients list were blacked out. I called and explained the situation to the receptionist Adrianna, who said repeatedly that, "It is part of the packaging." I clearly explained that a covered portion of the ingredients list is not something that I've seen before nor something I'm comfortable with. I was told to bring the bottle in for a refund. When I went in, I was again told repeatedly that I have nothing to worry about and that the blacked out portion is "part of the packaging." Adrianna brought the owner Alberto and another employee into the conversation. Alberto snickered and condescendingly spoke to me and parroted what the others were saying.

  Shiane was absolutely wonderful ! I was feeling really unconfident with my hair and she listened and gave me advice on how I could get my hair back on track. She was really personable and when making recommendations for product she took the time to walk me through how to properly use them ! Thank-you Shiane I am super happy with my cut and I will be back !

  Have to learn to book appointments properly.. And if the customer as her appointment in plan view of the time she was given. Then she shows up and THEN told to wait a hour + because of the person sending out confirmation emails was wrong. Not right. What it also not right basically telling me I was wrong when I had the text to prove date and time.

  I enjoyed the atmosphere and the attention to detail that I received from the stylists in addition to the cut and style itself. After some time, I started getting inconsistent hair cuts and I stopped going for some time.

  I finally got my purchase refunded. On my way out I thought I'd discard the small paper bag that the shampoo had come in. As I turned, Adrianna raised her voice and rudely said, "Can I have my bag back." I kept the bag on the counter and left, very disturbed.

  I was greeted nicely when I booked my appointment and when I arrived later for the appointment. I always feel a little apprehensive and anxious when I go to new places, but both of the employees I talked to made me feel at ease. I had a great time with Shianne. I told her I love short hair and that I've had disastrous cuts from other stylists that left me a little afraid, but there was nothing to be afraid of with her. I showed her what I wanted out of the appointment and she discussed what it would take to achieve the look and what it would take to maintain it; I left with exactly what I came for, a big smile, and renewed confidence in my hair. I am absolutely obsessed with my hair right now and I look forward to having it touched up at Alberto & Co in the future.
